2014 SCVAF

The 2014 Satellite Center Video & Animation Festival (SCVAF) will take place on April 4, 2014 at the Professional Learning Center (PLC) in Luling, Louisiana. Admission is free to all who would like to take part in the screening of entries during this year’s festival, which will begin at 4pm. Following the screenings we will hold the 9th Annual SCVAF Awards Ceremony (begins at 7:15PM). Wether you are attending as a creator or a critic we hope you have a wonderful time and take time to talk to the impressive young talent the Greater New Orleans area has to offer.

This year all entries will fall into one of the following categories:

We will work with you to ensure that your entries are screened in front of hundreds of SCVAF attendees and critiqued by professionals in the industry. Who Are We?

Albert Dupont

Albert Dupont

Albert, the Advanced TV Broadcasting facilitator at the Satellite Center, worked in the broadcasting industry for years before moving to the Satellite Center 7 years ago. He currently helps run the parish media crew who cover various events for St. Charles Parish Public Schools, called Press Play Productions.

Brian Gough

Brian Gough

Brian, the Interactive Media facilitator at the Satellite Center, has worked in the education field for over 17 years and has been a freelance designer in the interactive field in the past. He is currently the webmaster for St. Charles Parish Public Schools in addition to his teaching duties.

Rhitt Growl

Rhitt Growl

Rhitt, the Digital Media facilitator at the Satellite Center, worked in the advertising industry for 7 years before moving to the Satellite Center 7 years ago. He currently is a freelance designer and has developed numerous designs for clients within the Greater New Orleans area.
